Rotating Equipment (Machinery) Supervisor
Field job responsibilities
In cooperation with Warehouse Coordinator, ensure that material to be used for the erection of planned works is available and report to Field superintendent/Construction Manager any deficiency and advise when available approximate arriving date of material.
Check machinery condition at site reception.
Assist the Warehouse Coordinator, when required, for the unloading of machinery and checking of the parts that arrive disassembled on site
Check that all machineries are protected and supervise the routine maintenance in accordance with CONTRACTOR procedure and Vendor's instruction, during erection period. Record of maintenance shall be prepared and filed to ensure that the equipment is properly protected and maintained
Check the disassembly of machinery accessories before installation
Issue work order to Company Contractor to install machinery
Supervise assembly of machinery
Supervise the alignment of machinery in cold and hot condition condition and issue pre acceptance test certificate
Supervise the assembly of accessory circuits and connection of the same with the service lines
Check in cooperation with the Piping Supervisor the paralleling of the flange connection with the pipe lines and the efficiency of piping support in order to avoid damage to the machinery
Check safety circuits and safety provision
Supervise and check the lubrication and auxiliary system of machinery in accordance with Vendor's Instructions
Keep record of modifications and send to Warehouse coordinator corresponding relevant information to issue a back charges to machinery Vendor's if necessary
Prepare and fill the testing and obtain approval of installation from Company Construction Manager
Check pickling of suction line if requested in the specifications
Check Oil reservoir and that lines before starting installation work are perfectly clean and free of obstructions.
Check spare part delivery and correct transfer to Company warehouse
Take care of the protection and maintenance of machinery delivered but not immediate erected and preserved in the construction warehouse, according to Company Vendor and CONTRACTOR project regulations and procedures. Record of maintenance shall be prepared and filed to assure that the equipment is properly protected and maintained
Schedule assistance of Company Vendor's personnel as per project scope of work,
